This quote is so true , I believe that no one can see the harm they have caused on the earth. Even the smallest thing you do that affects a tiny part of the environment may not seem like anything to you but it causes a chain of events that ends up being a big ordeal. People need to start realizing how much of an impact their actions really have. If people realized how much harm they cause to the environment they would not do half of the things they do.

I do not agree with this because all though everything relies on another part of nature to stay alive something will cause it to go out of whack and cause havoc. Our world sometimes needs some disaster to keep it going because it develops new ways of the world working together. Nothing will ever be perfect and that is why I disagree with this quote. Things change over time and their is no controlling nature it has a mind of its own.

I happen to agree with Carson here because nature tends to adapt to how we treat and interact with it. New things happen in nature because of are interactions with it. An animal may act differently because we played with it , or a tree might grow a different way or may die due to an animal continuously climbing and hitting it. We tend to think that we came first but in reality nature was there before us we impeded on nature. We are the ones making changes to history due to our interactions with nature.

I do not agree with this I say that spraying is good for the environment. It keeps many things under control that if we didn't spray would get out of hand and cause much worse things to happen. Many people think that your causing harm to the environment by spraying in some cases this is true but its such a minimal cost to the effect if we didn't spray. More people need to look at the cost benefit in these situations and will realize why spraying is important in our society.
